Important: DAC7 reporting at Brenger

Brenger is required to share tax and personal data of user of our platform, in this case you as a courier. In this article, we'd like to explain to you exactly what this entails and what it means for you. 


Information about tax information report at Brenger

Brenger is going to make some changes to comply with the new EU Legislation (DAC7) for digital platforms. To comply, Brenger is required to collect and report revenue and tax information from couriers who are driving and earning money through our platform.


What is DAC7?

DAC7 is an EU tax legislation that requires online platforms, like Brenger, to report information on couriers' income to the tax authorities. You can read more about DAC7 here.


To ensure that Brenger will become DAC7 compliant, we will start requesting the required information from couriers in the coming period.

As part of our commitment to provide secure verification, we are partnering with Supplied. This company specializes in data management, verification, and privacy. 


What do we need from you?

- Name, email address, phone number

- Address information

- VAT number verification

- COC-number

- Business TIN verification

- Photo ID verification 


What happens if I do not complete or share this information with Brenger?

If we do not receive the required information, we are forced to restrict certain access to Brenger. We will then put the account on hold (temporarily) until the correct information is provided, and verified. Please know that any data we need from you, will only be used to comply with the new regulations.
