What to do when damage occurs?

Of course things can go wrong during transport. Brenger is insured up to 500,- euro for damage that occurs during transport. This insurance applies from door to door. 


The following conditions apply to Brenger's damage policy:

  • We are insured up to 500 euro for damage incurred during transport.
  • We do charge 150 euros excess for you as the courier, in case you don't have proof that you transported it safely. (packed with moving blankets and secured with straps)
  • We are not insured for damage inside the house. Be sure to mention this when you arrive at a location. Get a signature from the customer. 


If the conditions of this policy are met, the insurance does not include an excess, otherwise an excess of €150 per transport applies. 

It is important to always have the customer's signature, this way you can avoid unpleasant situations.

Is there already damage before the items(s) are loaded, take a picture in which this is clearly visible. This way we can prevent false damage claims.

If damage occurs, the courier should contact Brenger and let the customer know that they can fill out the damage form via the track & trace code.
